It's That Time of Year Again!
The Board and Staff of Scarborough Community Legal Services
invite you to attend our
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Held in Room M03/4
at the Mid-Scarborough Hub
(2660 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, Ontario)
From 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm on 11 October 2022
While this meeting is in-person, attendance will be capped at fifty (50)
people. If you are unable to attend in person, please join us on our
livestream on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
All in-person attendees are required to wear a mask unless eating or
drinking, in keeping with current clinic protocols.
Meeting Notice
NOTICE is given that a Meeting of the Members of Scarborough Community Legal Services (the “Corporation”) is called and will be held in the Room M03/4 at the Mid-Scarborough Hub (2660 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, Ontario)), for the following purposes:
- To consider and approve the minutes of the last meeting of Members held in November 2022;
- To pass a resolution ratifying and confirming the past acts of the Directors and Officers of the Corporation;
- To pass a resolution to approve the audited financial statements for 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023;
- To pass a resolution appointing the Auditor for the upcoming year;
- To pass a resolution to amend the Corporation’s Bylaws to comply with the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010.
- To pass a resolution electing the Directors of the Corporation whose terms have expired or seats are vacant;
- To transact such other business as may properly be brought before the meeting or any adjournments.
